Rob McElhenney shows class with off-camera gesture before Wrexham game

Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney is taking his role as owner and chairman of the club very seriously and continues to ingratiate himself with Wrexham fans

American TV star and Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney continues to show himself in fantastic light as the northern Welsh club’s chairman after spending time with a host of fans prior to their 3-1 win over Halifax Town.

The co-owner has seemingly been spending more time in Wrexham this season, being seen at a handful of games after making regular trips from his home in Philadelphia.

Before the game against Halifax on October 24, McElhenney took pictures with a host of fans, even after the Disney+ camera crews had made their way up the stairs, leaving him behind. The much-loved co-owner also spent time speaking to an elderly gentleman before returning to his seat to prepare for the upcoming game.

It was just the second time that McElhenney has seen Wrexham win in person after having a dismal record of doing so in the previous season, which was documented on Disney Plus show Welcome to Wrexham.
