The snap was taken backstage at one of George's concerts. Assuming it was The Faith Tour, based on Rob's sticker in the photo, the photo was probably taken either in 1988 or 1989 when the tour was going on. Demi and Rob starred together in the 1985 blockbuster movie, St. Elmo's Fire, along with actors such as Emilio Estevez and Judd Nelson. He credits Demi as an inspiration for his sobriety. "I just remember thinking, 'If that girl can get sober, anybody can," Rob said while appearing on The View in 2019. Rob has been sober since 1990, calling it "the best decision of my life." His son, John, commented on the throwback post: "You're old." Rob has two sons, John and Matthew, with jewellery maker Sheryl Lowe. The 59-year-old actor recently posted an anniversary tribute to his wife celebrating their 32nd anniversary.
