Rishi Sunak says he is ‘fired up’ and wants to be PM until 2030 — despite lagging behind

RISHI Sunak last night said he was “fired up” and wants to be PM until 2030 – despite lagging behind in the polls.

The Prime Minister said he was “hungry to win” the next vote, expected in autumn 2024.

Speaking as he flew to New Delhi for the G20 summit, Mr Sunak admitted he had been left frustrated by the dodgy concrete crisis and the escape of a terror suspect prisoner.

But he hit back at the gloomsters in his own party predicting wipeout at the next election, insisting he was still in it to win it.

He has recently made changes to his Cabinet as he prepares for an election battle and said: “I can tell you, certainly in Downing Street, we are fired up.
