Police searching for a 70-year-old woman who vanished more than a year ago have found her remains in a north London churchyard.
Norma Girolami, from Highgate in north London, was last seen alive in August 2021, and detectives launched a murder investigation in October last year.
Scotland Yard said officers searching for her recovered human remains at Friern Barnet Lane in North Finchley, Barnet, and identification has been confirmed.
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn said the investigation into her disappearance is ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact police.
