It has been a bumpy road for Reece Topley in a career plagued by injuries, but the fast bowler has returned from the dislocated shoulder that kept him out of action for most of the summer and will be a key part of England’s defence of the 50-over World Cup.
That injury, which he suffered in April playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, came just as he had recovered from an ankle issue. He has also struggled with a series of serious back injuries throughout his career.
