Reason suspended BBC presenter can’t be named explained by top legal expert

A top legal expert has explained why the BBC male presenter who allegedly paid a teenager for explicit images has not been named

A male BBC presenter has been suspended following allegations he paid a teenager for sexually explicit images and a top legal expert has explained why the broadcaster has decided against naming the star.

It’s been reported the presenter in question receives a six-figure salary while the BBC have confirmed the male star has been taken off-air.

The mother of a teenager claims the male presenter first interacted with her child when they were just 17 and the money allegedly funded their child’s drug addiction.

Top criminal barrister Jeremy Hayes explained to the Mirror why the BBC are unable to name the presenter.
