Raheem Sterling says he is happy to continue in a wing-back role at Chelsea under Graham Potter despite insisting ‘I’m better next to the box’.

The 27-year-old left Manchester City to join the Blues in a £48million deal in the summer, frequently playing through the middle during his short time working under Thomas Tuchel and scoring three times under the German.
Since Potter’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, Sterling has been deployed in a number of different positions – with Reece James’ absence through injury forcing the manager’s hand to some extent.
Sterling, along with USA international Christian Pulisic, have both been used in full-back roles with the project deemed a failure by many pundits and fans alike following Chelsea’s dismal 4-1 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.
