QPR owner QUITS club and sells all his shares after 12 years of ownership

QPR co-owner Tony Fernandes has quit the club – selling all his shares after 12 years.

Fernandes stepped down from his role as chairman six years ago but opted to keep his shares in the West London club.

But the Malaysian mogul has decided to move on to a new chapter in his life by selling his stake in the Hoops.

He said: “Outside of family, I have experienced some of the most enjoyable moments of my life thanks to QPR.

“On the pitch, there have been special victories and it was an honour to be there and see us win promotion to the Premier League at Wembley Stadium.
