Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov is said to be in a coma after a deterioration of an illness, according to reports. According to Eastern European news outlet Nexta Andrei Yusov from Ukrainian intelligence said that Kadyrov’s illnesses had worsened. He said: “The information is confirmed from various sources in medical and political circles. This is not about injuries. Other details need further clarification. He has been sick for a long time, and we are talking about systemic health problems.” Kadyrov, 46, recently paid tribute to former Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin after he was killed in a plane crash, saying his death was a “great loss for the whole state”. The leader heads up Russia’s the Muslim-majority region of Russia, Chechnya, which borders Georgia in the North Caucasus near the Caspian Sea.
