Dutch club PSV have been slapped with a fine for damaging Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium during their Europa League clash on October 20.

During the match, which the Gunners won 1-0 thanks to a single goal from Granit Xhaka, PSV fans ripped out chairs and damaged seats in the away end, threw objects and were responsible for ‘crowd disturbances and acts of damages’.
PSV, managed by former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, have now been handed a €40,000 fine (£34,700) by UEFA and will also not be allowed to sell tickets for their next European away game.
Arsenal travel to Eindhoven to face the Eredivisie side for the reverse fixture on Thursday, with Mikel Arteta’s side top of Group A and PSV sat in second.
