Prince Harry “looks like a fascinated tourist” during his visit to New York City while Prince Harry “used the body language of a celebrity” at the Invictus Games , according to an expert. The future King was all smiles as he touched down on Monday, saying it was “so good” to be back in the US. He will speak at the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit this evening and was seen wading through the waters of New York City during a visit to an oyster reef restoration project. Prince Harry was in Germany last week for the Invictus Games , delivering speeches at the opening and closing ceremonies while also being pictured with Meghan Markle at a number of the events where they were surrounded by delighted sporting fans. Now body language expert Judi James has compared the estranged brothers, explaining how they both display very contrasting signs. For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to Daily Express US Prince William walks in the water as he visits Billion Oyster Project in New York City (Image: GETTY) She told The Mirror: “Harry hit the ground at Invictus using the body language of celebrity. “Waving, hugging, storming out on the stage, he was very much a ‘spotlight royal’ and his charisma style was what is described simply as ‘Here I am!’ as he brought some magic to the games via his presence. Ms James continued: “William’s body language approach in the US is what is called ‘There you are!’; charisma that is less celebrity and more about turning the people he meets into the stars. “He is presenting some much more low-key, low-status signals, allowing himself to be led and hosted and happily waiting for his cues and greetings, wearing a more bashful smile that suggests he is excited and slightly in awe of the people and the country he is visiting. Prince Harry was joined by Meghan Markle at the Invictus Games last week (Image: GETTY) “His speech might throw up more of his leadership traits but at the moment he is looking like a fascinated tourist.” She added: “Harry delivered his two speeches in the pacing, pointing, emotional style of a military trainer or coach. William uses signals here though to suggest he is the one learning as he goes out to gather oysters and meets the people involved.” But despite the vast differences, Ms James explained how the estranged royal brothers still show similarities in their behavior. She said: “The shared traits come from two ends of the emotional spectrum. William meets with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the UN headquarters in New York City (Image: GETTY) “Both William and Harry share the self-comfort, self-protective barrier ritual of placing one hand to the waist when they feel anxious or under pressure. “Harry was seen fiddling with his jacket button in Germany and William can be seen touching his clothing in the same ritual in the US.” Meanwhile, William has been praised by a Royal Family enthusiast as a “very humble person with no ego” – in total contrast to Harry and Meghan Markle who “always seek the public spotlight”. Nile Gardiner, a Washington-based foreign policy expert, poured praise on how the future King conducts himself but lashed out at the Sussexes. He told Daily Express US: ” Prince William , to his great credit, is a very humble figure. He is very low and lives a life of service to the country – he understands the gravitas of his role. “William dedicates his life to preparing for the role of being king and understands the significance of that. He epitomizes the role of a public servant in the truest sense, and there is much to be admired in that approach. “The Prince of Wales has no ego at all. He doesn’t seek the limelight or glory, whereas Harry and Meghan do seek the spotlight, as is especially the case with Meghan, and I think we saw that last week at the Invictus Games. “William carries out his duties with a sense of service and that is definitely not the case with Harry and Meghan, especially not the case with Meghan.”
