Literary agent Matt Latimer said: 'Is his goal to enhance his celebrity with a certain sector of the public, or is it to repair the rift with his family? 'Those are competing goals to some extent, and it's hard to do both.' The delay is thought likely to have allowed Prince Harry to write additional chapters about his grandmother's death, ensuring it does not appear out of date. Its publication will come just weeks after the release of a Netflix documentary series featuring extensive interviews with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which is expected to be released in December.
