Prince Harry’s ‘in bed with the devil’ as he’s urged to cancel Netflix series

More info Paul Burrell, who worked for The Royal Family for more than 20 years, has urged Prince Harry to cancel his upcoming Netflix docuseries. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly signed a $100 million deal with the streaming giant to create the series. It was due to be released later this year after the fifth season of The Crown, but it is understood it could be delayed until 2023. Paul lambasted The Crown, which dropped on Netflix last week, when he was interviewed on Dan Wootton Tonight on Friday. The 64-year-old was Diana’s butler for several years and he claimed the Netflix series about the monarchy was “distasteful, cruel and inaccurate” with its portrayal of the People’s Princess. That did not happen.” He continued: ‘Why would a woman who loved being a royal, and who was very proud of being a member of The Royal Family want to tear down that institution? “It doesn’t make any sense. That is not true. That is not who Diana was.” Express.co.uk has contacted Netflix for comment. The Netflix series will be about Meghan and Harry The Netflix series is to be be released next year When asked about her son Harry, who stepped down as a senior royal with Meghan in 2020, Paul fumed: ‘He’s got into bed with the devil, hasn’t he? “He really has commercialised himself to the hilt. “And he should give the money back and say, ‘Actually, I don’t want to do this more on principle. So please don’t do this, cancel the series.'” He went on to say The Crown should have been cancelled at the end of the fourth series.
