Prince Harry turns to ‘optical illusion’ hair trick in controversial new head shot

Princess Diana embraces sons William and Harry on Royal Yacht Britannia Prince Harry used a neat “optical illusion” trick to make his hair appear fuller than usual in his latest headshot, according to a hair specialist. The Duke of Sussex’s mane seemed a couple of tones darker than usual and the thinning patch at the top of his hair was notably not as thick as only a few days earlier when he stepped out in Singapore. The new photo was uploaded over the weekend on the website of Better Up, the health start-up that hired Harry as its chief impact officer a little over two years ago. The sudden change in the Duke’s appearance left some royal fans questioning the veracity of the photo – with some wondering whether the image could have been heavily edited or if the Duke underwent treatment. But specialist Fabian Martinez suggested Harry could have simply used a treatment that gives the impression of fuller hair. For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to Daily Express US Prince Harry’s hair appeared thinner when he appeared in Tokyo Speaking to Daily Express US, Martinez said: “It appears that Harry is sporting Hair fibres which are commonly utilized as cosmetic items to give the impression of denser and more voluminous hair. “These fibers are crafted from either natural or synthetic materials like keratin or cotton. These materials are meticulously ground down and transformed into minuscule particles. “Upon application of hair fibers onto your hair, they stick to your existing hair strands due to static electricity and the inherent texture of your hair.” The London Hair Clinic expert noted the fibers adapt and “intertwine” with the natural hair of the user thus creating an “optical illusion” of increased thickness. He continued: “These fibers intertwine with your hair, resulting in the individual strands appearing thicker. This outcome generates the optical illusion of heightened volume and coverage, particularly in regions where your hair might be experiencing thinning or sparsity.
