Prince Harry has lived a life of privilege, how totally unfair

Hazza clearly thinks not. Anyhoo I have seen a sneak preview and here’s the gist of what he has to say:I was born in a private hospital in 1984 to the most popular woman in the world and her husband, who is now the King. The world waited with bated breath to hear the news of my arrival and it made the headlines everywhere. My mother and I received the finest medical care available and no expense was spared when I was taken home, which happened to be a royal palace in the most expensive and attractive area in London. It’s so unfair.I was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, as is normal in my family, educated at Eton and given a great deal of help to pass the entrance requirements at Sandhurst. My gap year was spent playing polo in Australia and making documentaries in Lesotho, before I served to great acclaim in the army, including two stints in Afghanistan. There was some controversy about my going as my status made me a natural target, but the head of the army himself, General Sir Richard Dannatt, insisted that I should be allowed to follow my own wishes. It’s so unfair.I founded the Invictus Games for injured servicemen and women, which was not only a great success, but earned me praise from all over the world. I also travelled all over the world to promote it, and was given help at the very top levels. It’s so unfair.I dated some of the most attractive women of my generation, including Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, as well as managing a number of other relationships, the vast number of which have never been written about. Both my long-term girlfriends could have made a fortune by cashing in and writing about me and both chose not to. It’s so unfair. Prince Harry’s memoir is set to send shockwaves through the Royal Family (Image: Getty)I had an elder brother who did everything he could to look after me and protect me after the very tragic loss of my mother when I was young. I had a very high profile father who gave me the kind of financial status most people can only dream of.I became the most popular member of the Royal Family, and when I introduced my bride to the country I was born to serve, they greeted her with delight and as a breath of fresh air. It’s so unfair.I have been everywhere in the world, met heads of state, A-list celebrities, seen the amount I inherited from my mother shoot up in value, received a multi-million pound allowance from my father and as a result of all of this, I clearly had to stand back from public life in a country that so clearly adored me. What had I done to deserve all of this? It is totally and utterly so unfair.Swearing is caringAccording to a new report, swearing can be very helpful, as it can make us seem more persuasive and even relieve pain.Hmm. Perhaps that depends on who is doing the swearing. Not so long ago it emerged that Prince Andrew would yell, ‘F*** off,’ at whichever hapless flunkey had to open his bedroom curtains. Not so much persuasive as boorish and bullying. Perhaps you had to be there.Apparently being happily married reduces your chance of having a fatal heart attack, according to scientists at Yale University, as it helps heart patients to make a speedy recovery, research has shown.Having a supportive and loving spouse further cuts the risk of being readmitted to hospital or suffering chest pain. Presumably the opposite is also the case.So there’s something in that old phrase heartbroken, no?The privacy-loving Meghan Markle has just invaded her own privacy again by revealing details of her morning routine in Montecito. It involves ‘prepping’ (whatever that means) Archie’s lunchbox, apparently, feeding the dogs and making breakfast for the family. How very homely but I wonder who washes the dishes afterwards? I’m betting it ain’t Megs. Quite the Marie Antoinette, is she not? There is a rather tedious show on Radio 4 called One Dish in which someone chooses their favourite food and we lucky listeners get to hear about the history of it. So far this seems to be yet another attack on colonialism. When I haven’t got to the radio fast enough to turn it off, some of the dishes I have heard chosen come from across the pond (think West Indies and South America). And we all know what happened in that neck of the woods a couple of hundred years ago, so yet again it’s nasty white people either inflicting their culture on others or stealing it from the natives. All decent people think slavery abhorrent but these people are hurting their own cause by trying to rub everyone’s nose in it.No wonder Radio 4 listening figures are going down the plughole.Joe Biden apparently lost his temper and raised his voice on the phone to Volodymyr Zelensky when the Ukrainian president ‘did not show enough gratitude’ after the US president signed off on military aid worth $1billion.I think it is just possible Mr Zelensky had a few other things on his mind. President Biden was not happy with the Ukrainian president (Image: Getty)Is it just me or is Peter Andre one of the best role models around? His pretty little daughter Princess posed in a dress on Instagram, which she seemed to be advertising. Peter’s response? ‘Great. Now go do homework.’ How sensible. How down to earth. Would the Beckhams have done the same?Marijuana monotonyA new study has found that cannabis does not, after all, make you more creative. You don’t say. In my experience of dealing with cannabis users, it only makes you into a crashing bore.
