Prince Harry’s upcoming documentary Heart of Invictus is set to stream on Netflix from 30 August, and the five-part series will follow competitors at the Invictus Games
Prince Harry has created a “moving” documentary with his new Netflix documentary but it’s unlikely to be a hit, a PR expert has claimed.
The former royal, who quit the monarchy in 2020 with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been busy launching his new career in Hollywood, as the couple reside in Los Angeles with their two young children – Archie, four, and Lilibet, two. Now, Harry is about to have his third project with streaming giant Netflix released, but there are concerns the five-part documentary will fall flat.
Heart of Invictus is set to stream on Netflix from 30 August, and follows international competitors at the Invictus Games – an event Harry founded in 2014 for wounded and injured servicemen and women. Two years after the project was greenlit by Netflix, it’s set to hit TV screens around the world, and the series is the latest offering from Harry and Meghan’s joint production company Archewell Productions’ multi-year deal with the streaming service.
However, PR expert and The Moment Lab founder Matt Yanofsky believes Harry’s documentary may miss the mark, but could be a hit if it focuses on the “compelling stories” form veterans, rather than heavily involving the former royals.
