Prince Harry battles to answer simple question most people are asked every day

Prince Harry talks about combat stress and his experience from Afghanistan Prince Harry struggled to answer a seemingly straightforward question most people are asked fairly regularly during his new Netflix documentary series Heart of Invictus. The series, which was executively produced by the Duke, follows the lives of competitors and organisers, as well as Harry himself, during the Invictus Games 2020 in The Hague, Netherlands. However Harry does not do well with small talk, according to body language expert Judi James, as at points he looks to wife Meghan Markle for reassurance. She explained to Express.co.uk how the programme showcases the “many versions” of Harry, although he still seems uncomfortable in the spotlight despite his royal background. While he appears relaxed “trading banter” with his friends, including JJ Chalmers, he is less sure of himself even when answering basic questions. The small talk is sketchy to the point of unintentionally hilarious though: JJ points at a view and says ‘What’s that?’ to Harry who replies ‘That’s er..um..a bush’.” Harry will be at Invictus 2023 in Germany next month SUBSCRIBE Invalid email We use your sign-up to provide content in ways you’ve consented to and to improve our understanding of you. More info Harry also appeared to stumble over his words when quizzed by an interviewer who posed the simple question, “what do you do?” The former working royal, who now lives in Montecito, California with Meghan and their two young children, takes his time to give an answer, as the expert says: “It’s the question royals always ask the public on visits but Harry’s discomfort and the way he stalls and plays for time to think suggests he finds it unanswerable. “His eyes dart and drop in a cut-off and as he looks to one side to think he even pokes his tongue out in a gesture of deep concentration.” He eventually replies: “What do I do? Er…on any given day, I’m a dad of two under-three-year-olds. I’ve got a couple of dogs. (I’m) A husband. I’m founding patron of Invictus Games Foundation.” Trending Harry and Meghan at the Salute to Freedom Gala in 2021
