Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘split’ on UK return after being left ‘homeless’

According to an insider, Prince Harry is keen to return to the UK more, especially for charity work despite not having a permanent base here, but his wife Meghan Markle appears to not want to come back to Britain as much

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are divided on how much they want to return to the UK for visits, according to an insider.

After the couple sensationally quit as working royals to carve out a new life together in California, the couple had originally kept their UK home Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate. The property had been gifted to them by the late Queen and the pair stayed there while in Britain following the former monarch’s death.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan had been served their eviction notice on Frogmore Cottage and after the Coronation, they handed back the keys to King Charles. On his most recent visit to the UK earlier this month, it is believed Harry stayed at a hotel after being denied a room at Windsor Castle.

But despite their accommodation issue in the UK, a source close to Harry has claimed the Duke of Sussex does see return visits to his homeland in the future, however, Meghan is not so keen. Speaking the The Sunday Times, the friend explained: “Not having anywhere isn’t overly helpful. There are friends and hotels, but I know they would like to have somewhere.
