Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to “make amends” with Prince William by renting a Kensington Palace apartment, according to an insider. But the Duke of Sussex is still wary that he could become a “prisoner of the palace”, a source told OK! Magazine . “Harry doesn’t want to become a prisoner of the palace,” the inside source said. They continued: “He and Meghan are offering to rent an apartment at Kensington Palace and furnish it themselves. He hopes that will please William and show that they’re serious about coming back.” But Royal experts have questioned whether any reconciliation is on the table for Prince Harry and Prince William . The damage, the wounds are so deep it’s gonna take an awful lot and an awful long time to heal those wounds,” Talk TV’s Royal Editor Sarah Hewson told Sky News Australia . She added: “And, at this stage, I just don’t see any evidence whatsoever that there is a desire on either side, yet, to put an end to this and to forgive and forget.” Relations between Prince Harry and Prince William are believed to have gone from bad to worse following the release of Prince Harry ‘s memoir Spare in January of this year. Some Royal experts believe a reconciliation is currently off the table. (Image: GETTY) The Duke made a series of allegations against the Royal Family including William. The most shocking was a claim of a physical altercation between the two brothers which saw Harry allegedly shoved to the ground. The Duke of Sussex also alleges that Prince William called Meghan ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’ which Harry says was ‘parrot[ing] of the press narrative’. After splitting with the Royal Family in 2020, Meghan and Harry moved to Montecito, California where they have undertaken a number of projects including work with their charity organization Archwell.
