Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be in a “new chapter” as they embark on new projects following their move to the US. The couple stepped down from their senior roles in the Firm in 2020 and have since “distanced themselves” from the Royal Family , with the couple making a number of allegations since their move. After moving to their mansion in Montecito, the couple took on a number of projects including signing deals with Netflix and Spotify. Royal experts have said the couple are entering a “new chapter of their lives” as they continue taking on new projects. The Sussexes have created a docuseries about their time in the Royal Family and are about to release their new show, Heart of Invictus. Speaking to The Mirror , he said: “Harry and Meghan are in a new chapter of their lives, distancing themselves from their former roles as senior members of the Royal Family.” However, he warned the couple need Heart of Invictus to be a success. While their Netflix deal has remained intact, they announced earlier this year that they were ending their partnership with Sportify. Kieran, director of Media PR Global , said: “Their professional pursuits have expanded to encompass a diverse array of initiatives, whilst some have worked, many have not. “It is critical that the public reception of ‘Heart of Invictus’ enhances their public image in a positive light. If as expected the documentary focuses around the Invictus Games, as a whole they will avoid creating any new royal dramas. That in itself is a wise strategy.” The couple have ‘distanced themselves’ since their move to the US (Image: Getty) Heart of Invictus will focus on competitors taking part in Harry’s Invictus Games and will become available on Netflix from August 30. Kieran said: “By staying firm to their involvement in the games it will project an uplifting and positive message, Harry and Meghan can effectively begin a constructive narrative. This approach allows them to foster an atmosphere of unity and optimism and may be the start of a great tactical switch.” The Duke of Sussex founded the Invictus Games in 2014 as a way to celebrate veterans.
