Premium Bonds holders made millionaires after less than a year with NS&I

Premium Bonds holders are entered into a monthly prize draw (Image: GETTY) NS&I has announced the Premium Bonds top prize winners for the August draw with both new millionaires winning for Bonds they purchased less than a year ago. The first £1million jackpot winner is from Hereford & Worcester. Their winning Bond number was 522MP682337, which they purchased in December 2022. They hold the maximum of £50,000 in Bonds. The second millionaire winner is from Essex and holds winning Bond number 535RC655361, which they purchased in April 2023. They have £23,7000 in Bonds. Jill Waters, NS&I retail director, said: ‘Both of our winners waited under a year to win the jackpot, with one winning after eight months and the other after just four months. ‘This shows that big prizes can be won at any time, regardless of how long you’ve had your Premium Bonds . We hope each of our millionaires enjoys their winnings.’
