PREMIER LEAGUE cult hero Fabio Borini has joined Sampdoria in the 12th move of his career.
The Italian side were relegated from the Serie A last season.
Borini has signed a two-year deal at Samp and will be hoping to fire them back into the top division.
He will work under manager and football legend Andrea Pirlo, who was his boss at former club Fatih Karagumruk in Turkey.
Borini is adored by Sunderland fans for scoring a sensational winner in a 2-1 clash with local rivals Newcastle in 2013 just after his arrival.
