Police are to begin a dig on land surrounding a family home after a woman said her dad had murdered up to 70 women and made her hide the bodies.
Lucy Studey claimed her late father, Donald Dean Studey, had been a serial killer for several decades in a shocking interview with Newsweek late last month.
She told the magazine that he had forced her and her siblings to help transport dozens of human remains across farmland near the property in Iowa, United States before depositing them down a nearby well.
The victims are claimed to have been women from the local area, many of them sex workers.
