The serving Lancashire Police officer has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester Crown Court tomorrow. No details on why the woman was taken to hospital have been released by police. Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "At approximately 11.30pm on Thursday 10 November 2022, police were called to a report of a concern for the welfare of a woman at a hotel on Brook Street, Manchester. A SERVING police officer has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was rushed to hospital from a city centre hotel.
