She was last seen around 6pm. Her disappearance sparked a major police search and people were being urged to look out for sightings of her. A previous update from police revealed her car was found at an entrance to the nature trail. In an update on their Facebook page, Harford County Sheriff's Office wrote: "Update #2. At approximately 1.07pm, a female was located deceased off of the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. The identity of the victim, as well as the cause, and manner of death are still under investigation. We ask that, since this is still a very active and ongoing investigation, please refrain from posting any details you may know (or guess) on this post. We want answers as much as you do! Thank you!" They previously said on Facebook: "Update: Rachel's car was located at the Williams Street entrance in Bel Air. If you are walking the trail this morning and see anything suspicious, please call 911. "Please help us locate Rachel Morin, age 37. Rachel was last seen around 6pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023, when she left to walk on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. "Rachel is 5'2, 107 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue or black tank top, black sports bra, black spandex shorts, and gray sneakers. Police searching for a woman who vanished on a nature trail walk have revealed they have found a female’s body in a heartbreaking update.
37-year-old Rachel Morin vanished last night after leaving her home saying she was going for a walk on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. She was last seen around 6pm. Police said a woman’s body was found on the trail at 1.07pm today.
Her disappearance sparked a major police search and people were being urged to look out for sightings of her. A previous update from police revealed her car was found abandoned at an entrance to the nature trail.
Just on Sunday morning a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said the search for Rachel was “very active” and they were asking anyone with information to call detectives.
