The newest trailer comes in the wake of the Pokémon World Championships event and while it focuses exclusively on The Indigo Disk – the second expansion slated for winter – it promises something exciting for avid pokémon collectors. For the first time in the series, every previous starter pokémon will be readily available for you to catch and add to your party. There have been instances of Pokémon games making starters from previous entries available, but these were usually limited to special events or one-off in-game rewards. What the trailer is promising is that all these pokémon can be encountered and caught in the wild, so you don't have to transfer them from previous games. The most intriguing detail comes at the very end, as the game cycles through each of its Tera Types before landing on a never-before-seen symbol.
