Rishi Sunak is standing by bullying row minister Sir Gavin Williamson – despite calling his foul-mouthed texts to the party’s first female chief whip ‘unacceptable’.
Sir Gavin accused Wendy Morton of ‘rigging’ invitations to the Queen’s funeral to exclude people who opposed her boss, then-prime minister Liz Truss.
When Ms Morton denied it, he WhatsApped her, saying: ‘Well certainly looks like it which think is very s*** and perception becomes reality.’
He claimed she showed ‘f*** all interest’ in them and seemed to hint at revenge, adding: ‘Let’s see how many more times you f*** us all over. There is a price for everything.’
