Phillip Schofield spotted on TV four months after he resigned from ITV

Phillip Schofield has been spotted on television by viewers just four months after quitting This Morning . The ex-ITV presenter resigned from his position in May when he admitted to having an affair with a younger male colleague. The 61-year old has since kept himself out of the spotlight, however Netflix viewers have now spotted him appearing in a new documentary. A clip of Phillip and his former co-host Holly Willoughby appears in the third episode of Who Killed Jill Dando?. The footage was originally broadcast in the spring of last year and marked the 23rd anniversary of Jill’s death. Phillip later sensationally quit his role after his affair was revealed on May 26. Speaking to The Sun , the 61-year-old said: “There are accusations of all sorts of things. It never came across that way [an abuse of power] because we’d become mates. I don’t know about that. “But of course, I understand that there will be a massive judgment, but bearing in mind, I have never exercised that anywhere else. I assume somebody, somewhere, assumed something was going on, correctly, and didn’t say anything. I really probably only thought about it when I saw the rumour mill and saw it growing.” Phillip’s friendship with Holly is seemingly a thing of the past, as he unfollowed her on Instagram this month. The duo worked together hosting This Morning since 2009 and formed an incredibly close bond away from the cameras. Since his exit, Holly has continued to present alongside different presenters such as Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.
