The fan favourite chants have been given a classical twist – and include ‘We Love You England’, and ‘Who Ate All The Pies’
With the World Cup wrapping up just days before Christmas, an unlikely duo are hoping to top the festive charts this year â as football legend Peter Crouch teams up with opera star Paul Potts to release a Christmas album.
The former England star will be making his conductorial debut on the eight-track charity album â which gives popular football terrace chants a classical twist.
The well-known fan songs featured on the album will include “Enger-land, Enger-land, Enger-land”, “We Love You England”, and “V.A.R, My Lord, V.A.R”.
The concept album, titled “Crouchy Conducts The Classics”, has been created in partnership with bookmaker Paddy Power â which has even launched a record label to support the new release.
