Does this Christmas tree fill you with holiday season joy?
It certainly didn’t give locals in a Merseyside town that festive feeling when it was unveiled by the council this week.
After being put up in St Helens town centre, the tree was branded ‘a laughing stock’.
Taking to social media to fume, one person said: ‘Yes that’s our Christmas tree. I saw it yesterday and my first thought was “have they recycled last year’s?”‘
