I was signing stuff, and they said I was taking too long,' the quarterback told a group of fans. When the young fan saw his hero, he said to the Kansas City Chiefs player: "Mr. Mahomes, will you sign my jersey when you're done?" The quarterback turned back and to the disappointment of the child, he answered: "Can't sign for everyone, can't make everybody happy.' Despite Mahomes offering a valid explanation for why he was unable to sign, the father of the young child continued. He said: "Yeah, you can, you can just make one kid happy out of a hundred." Mahomes hit back: "I'll make 99 sad,' before the dad added: "That's alright, one out of 99, at least it ain't zero percent.' Following the golf tournament, Mahomes is participating in training camp and preparing for a busy pre-season, before the Kansas City Chiefs aim to successfully defend their Super Bowl championship. Before that though, he was promoting the Netflix documentary 'Quarterback' which followed three quarterbacks throughout the 2022 NFL season. Mahomes stars in the program alongside Philadelphia Eagles star Marcus Mariota and Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
