Parrot picked cage lock, escaped and was found 30 miles away (sadly not Chanel)

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A parrot who managed to escape his cage by picking the lock has been reunited with his owner after four days.

Lorrett McCutcheon, 53, had just bought the parrot, named Albert Sebastian, when he managed to jimmy the latch on his cage and disappear.

He escaped his new home, in Cumbernauld, Scotland, and devastated Lorrett turned to social media to ask neighbours to search for him.

Locals went our for walks trying to find him, calling his name as they went, and after four days a parrot matching Albert’s description was found on a farm – 32 miles away in the Ayrshire village of Beith.
