Dr Oleg Iourin was sent on diversity training course despite being cleared of harassment
An Oxford University academic has won a legal battle against his employers after he was sent on a harassment training course despite being cleared of such conduct.
Dr Oleg Iourin has been engaged in a dispute with the historic institution since 2016 following a complaint that he tried to kiss a female colleague.
Matters were escalated in 2018 when the postdoctoral research scientist formally sued the university for making him attend equality and diversity training following the incident.
His discrimination claims were dismissed following a lengthy employment tribunal in 2020.
