Over 100 people trapped in mystery writer Agatha Christie’s former home

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Agatha Christie’s former home unintentionally became a refuge for stranded fans after they were trapped inside the period house following bad weather.

The adverse conditions meant that over 100 people were stuck inside the celebrated detective novelist’s former abode this week.

Open for public visits, the property can be found at Greenway in Devon and regularly hosts tours – some of which keen supporters of the late writer were enjoying last Friday when stormy weather interrupted things.

Stopping anyone from leaving, a tree was reportedly knocked over by the wind and rain blocking the road leading to the home resulting in the exit being cut off for anyone inside the grounds.
