Outlander star details ’embarrassing’ on-set moment with Sam Heughan

Several new characters have been introduced in the latest season of the hit historical drama Outlander. Izzy Meikle-Small, who plays Quaker Rachel Hunter, has detailed one particularly embarrassing moment that occurred when she filmed the latest batch of episodes. Speaking to Town & Country, Izzy reminisced about a particularly memorable day on set as she outlined: ‘It was such a funny day. “We all really had the giggles because we were doing this scene where we were in this loch and me, Sam (Heughan), and Cat (Caitriona Balfe) were in a boat that was pushing off because we were escaping. It was really high stakes.’ Viewers may remember this scene in the episode titled Singapore, which saw the British soldiers commence their attack on Fort Ticonderoga, forcing the Continental Army to flee.
