Donald Trump has claimed America will be destroyed unless voters back the Republicans in tomorrow’s mid-term elections.
President Joe Biden’s Democrats fear losing their slim control of both houses of Congress, amid surging inflation, crime concerns and worries about the 79-year-old’s leadership of the country.
Former president Mr Trump – tipped to run for the White House again in 2024 – called the US ‘a country in decline’ telling thousands of cheering supporters in western Pennsylvania: ‘If you want to stop the destruction of our country and save the American dream, then on Tuesday you must vote Republican in a giant red wave.’
