Hundreds of trade unionists from across Britain will take part in a mass rally in Westminster calling for voters to get a say on how this country is run.
The Tories are threatening to whack public sector staff by capping pay rises across the board at a miserable 2% next year, despite warnings inflation could still be above 9%.
TUC General Secretary Francis O’Grady, who will lead the protest calling for a general election, declared: “The Tories have no mandate for this. They mustn’t be allowed to make working people pay the price – yet again – for their gross incompetence.
