MORE than 200 BBC staff now take home at least £150,000 a year.
The number has risen by more than 40 per cent in five years.
Presenters account for 87 of them but 133 off-air staff are in the mega-salary bracket, the BBC’s annual report shows.
Top of the talent pay list is Gary Lineker, who earned £1.35million despite an impartiality row over anti-Tory tweets.
Radio 2 breakfast show presenter Zoe Ball is the Beeb’s second-highest paid star, on £984,999.
