Noel Fielding has said The Great British Bake Off decided to go back to basics after fans ‘freaked out’ last season.
The beloved baking series has been airing since 2010, with The Mighty Boosh star Noel, 50, joining as one of the hosts back in 2017.
Despite the show having many loyal fans, the last season fell flat for many, with the showrunner even conceding it ‘was not our strongest’.
