Nintendo has announced its next Indie World Showcase which promises fans 25-minutes of trailers and updates for an avalanche of indie games heading to the platform.
The Nintendo Indie World Showcase is being broadcast on Wednesday, November 8 at 5pm GMT / 12pm ET / 9am PT. We’re not expecting any ground-breaking announcements on core franchises â which are strictly reserved for Nintendo Direct streams. But there’ll no doubt be plenty of smaller titles to tantalise players looking for fun and unique games outside of the platform’s first-party series.
The last indie showcase was back in May, giving us a sneak peek at the roster of games headed to the Nintendo Switch over the course of the year. It included Devolver Digital’s dungeon-crawler, Cult of the Lamb; the incredibly addictive puzzle strategy game, Mini Motorways; and charming life sim Ooblets that combines farming with pokemon -style battling and creature collection.
You can catch up on May’s presentation over on YouTube for a rundown of all the trailers in case you missed them. There are some real gems in the line-up, and the trailers are all time-stamped, so you can skip to whatever takes your fancy. In the meantime, here’s everything you need to know about this week’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase.
