Nick Owen returns to work after treatment for ‘aggressive’ cancer

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

BBC presenter Nick Owen is set to return to screens next week after undergoing surgery for prostate cancer.

Last month the veteran TV presenter, 75, revealed he’d been diagnosed with the disease, which he labelled ‘aggressive’ and ‘extensive’.

Reflecting on the day he was told he had cancer back in April, Nick said it was ‘one of the worst’ of his life.

But after receiving treatment he’s now returning to work on Midlands Today, where he will appear on the sofa one day a week as he continues to recover.
