Roquan Smith has become a leader for the Baltimore Ravens on defence, and the dominant linebacker took aim at the Cleveland Browns ahead of their division meeting in Week 4
Baltimore Ravens star Roquan Smith has sensationally claimed his team are looking to beat the Cleveland Browns “in front of their wife and kids” in their rivalry showdown.
Last season, the Ravens traded for the dominant linebacker ahead of the 2022 deadline and he became an instant game-wrecker for the AFC North franchise. His mere presence has solidified the defensive unit, with fellow linebacker Patrick Queen finding form by popping up on the opposite side of the field.
Smith’s passion for the sport is clear and the outspoken star often hits headlines for his quirky answers in press conferences. Ahead of the clash with the Ravens’ rivals on Sunday, Smith took aim at the Browns and insinuated what he hopes to achieve on enemy territory.
On Wednesday, Smith appeared before reporters and issued an eyebrow-raising quote. When asked if he embraces the role of a villain while playing a division rival on the road, the 26-year-old said: “At the end of the day, you’re considered the bad guy because you’re going into essentially another man’s house, and you’re trying to take over.
