One of the best pass-rushers in the league has had a body transformation after putting on almost 30lbs of muscle mass after eating a huge amount of calories per day ahead of the new season
NFL star Joey Bosa has begun to hate eating after taking in 5,000 calories a day this off-season.
The Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher has struggled with injuries in recent seasons, and has added on around 30lbs to his body weight – wanting to become an even more dominant player this season.
But eating that amount of food has certainly not been an enjoyable process for the 28-year-old. Bosa told reporters: “Eating really isn’t enjoyable these days. It’s more so just part of the job.”
Ever since he entered the league in 2016 as the third overall draft pick to the Chargers, Bosa has stuck with a very similar offseason workout routine. The 28-year-old continued in that routine this summer, but added much more food to it in order to up by his weight.
