A sports host made a risky decision to get a tattoo due to his confidence in the Kansas City Chief going undefeated this season but he has already been made to eat his words
An American sports talk show host made a bold prediction regarding the Kansas City Chiefs that was proved wrong after just one game.
The new NFL season began with the defending champions hosting the Detroit Lions earlier today. Nick Wright, who hosts the ‘First Things First’ show on FOX, got a tattoo before the season began titled âNever in Doubt’.
He did this to prove just how much believed the Chiefs would go through the season without losing a game and win the Super Bowl once again. However, he was made to eat a slice of humble pie as the Lions prevailed 21-20 and left Arrowhead Stadium stunned.
Following his incorrect prediction, Wright tweeted: “Welp⦠see y’all tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET, I guess.” With five minutes remaining in the game, Lions running back David Montgomery ran for an eight-yard touchdown before a first down run inside the final two minutes all but sealed the victory.
