A NEWCASTLE United fan was allegedly ambushed and stabbed by a pack of men in Milan ahead of today’s Champions League match.
The British man, 58, was viciously attacked by between seven to eight knife-wielding hooded men at midnight and was rushed to hospital, police say.
Local media reported that the man was targeted in a neighbourhood near the centre of Milan on Navigli where he was walking with a friend.
The pack reportedly stabbed the victim three times, both in the arm and the back.
The Newcastle supporter was allegedly saved by police and taken straight to a hospital under a “code red” to assess his wounds, according to Milano Today.
