NEWCASTLE have been told that it will cost over £40million to land Southampton’s Tino Livramento.
Saints rejected Toon’s bid in the region of £30m for the full-back who they bought from Chelsea for £4m in 2021, with the Blues due a hefty sell-on fee.
Livramento, 20, started yesterday’s friendly against Reading as negotiations continue.
Southampton have knocked back a number of enquiries this summer and are determined to keep hold of the England Under-21 defender.
And new Stamford Bridge chief Mauricio Pochettino is also said to hold an interest in the England Under-21 star.
