Newcastle has topped a list of UK cities â that have the best overall “vibe”, according to Brits.
The Geordie city scored 8.09 out of 10 â being ranked as the place with the best food, and the best sense of style. In fact, it topped the list in seven of the nine categories in total â including being the most welcoming, and having the best pub scene.
Other top cities with a good “vibe” include Cardiff and Liverpool â with the latter coming top for the best music scene, scoring 7.53 out of 10, ahead of Newcastle’s 7.42 score for music.
However, cities that did not fare so well include Stoke on Trent, which scored bottom in six of the nine categories â including the lowest overall vibe, and having the worst food, music, and nightlife.
