NEWCASTLE have agreed a £35million deal to sign Southampton right-back Tino Livramento, according to reports.
Chelsea and Arsenal had both been linked with a move for the 20-year-old English defender.
But talkSPORT understand Eddie Howe’s side have won the race to secure his services as the Magpies prepare to return to the Champions League.
Southampton had previously rejected a bid of £30m from Newcastle, but a £5m increase appears to have sealed the deal.
And while Chelsea will be disappointed they could not bring their former player back, it is not all doom and gloom.
