Netflix has stepped up its war against account sharing – by now letting you remotely boot someone out of your account.
So if your estranged partner is happily watching Friends or your washing-up shy housemate is devouring Breaking Bad, you can swiftly spoil their fun with a simple mouse click.
The new âremote logout’ feature means the account holder can forcibly kick off any other devices using that login to stream content.
As well as discouraging freeloaders, Netflix says it’s a nifty way of removing your account from any other devices â such as hotel TVs â you may have forgotten to sign out from.
