A new date for King Charles and Queen Camilla’s state visit to France has been announced after it was postponed following widespread rioting earlier this year.
The royal couple were forced to postpone their trip back in March after demonstrations were sparked by pension reforms pushed through by French President Emmanuel Macron.
The couple will visit Paris and Bordeaux from September 20 to the 22 to celebrate the shared history, culture and values of the UK and France, Buckingham Palace has said.
